Hello all. We have a 2006 Monaco Monarch SE 30PPD with two slides. Recently when attempting to bring in slides, nothing worked. I checked everything I could but no luck. inally used piece of wire to "jump" them in. Motors worked fine during procedure. The slide out controller circuit board is made by IDS with part number 10667E. Could board be the problem? How can I check it to see if its the problem. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks, John

Check to see if you have power to the board.

Does your engine have to be off for the slides to work?

Engine OFF, Air bags FULL, ALL BAY Doors CLOSED and EBrake SET...Also, your batteries must be reasonably charged....if you have a bad connection in one of the bay doors the slides won't work. Since you were able to "jump" them, I would think the board is ok. I would look at the pin connections on your bay doors first........Dennis

Not sure with your unit, but it possible there is a solenoid that prevents you from deploying the slides while the engine is running. If that is the case, and the solenoid is sticking, then try turning the ignition key to on, then back off. Either that or locate the solenoid and tap on it to free the contacts.

Thanks for replies. All standard procedures for using slides were in place so this is not the problem. When I jumped the slides in, I had unpluggged the board connection and used power from light by removing bulb and using that electricity. My bay doors are not connected to the system, but they were closed at the time. The circuit board has relays but it is the older style that you cant pull one out to replace, newer ones you can. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks, John

My neighbor has to have his drivers seat forward before the slide will come in.
It might not clear when his driving seat is rearward.

If your board has the small about one inch square relays that is probably your problem. They can be replaced. I had one go out, the slide would go out but not in. I bought the relays from Mouser electronics and with a soldering iron heated the solder holding the relay and removed it. Put the new one in and resoldered it.

Is there one control board for both slides or independent control boards? The reason I ask is I just had a similar problem this morning with my living slide; with the slide in the extended position, it did nothing when trying to retract but it did click when attempting to extend. So I located control boards (living and bedroom) and after some checking with the voltmeter, it was looking like a bad board. As a last ditch effort, I unplugged the harness for the bedroom slide and plugged it into the living control board and the board worked properly....hmmm...so I plugged the living harness into the bedroom control board and it worked too!! So I put all harness' back to normal and all worked ok.
I guess it was a poor connection at the control board, man did I get lucky. Sorry for the wind.....

I had a problem with my slide and it turned out to be the switch itself. I thought it would be somthing more serious but that was all it was. Good luck.
