The AF dealer here told us that they really weren't necessary. They allow condensation to build up between. He made it sound like the thermal panes were the way to go. He talked us out of them.

Dual pane windows have an acoustic property advantage.
They also add weight to the camper.

I would definitely have them on my next camper and currently have them on my present camper.
