Is there any restrictions on Routes 287 & 78 thru NJ and NY that would prevent a class A motor home for using those routes? My MH is 34' long and 8.5' wide DP.

If coming east from western PA on 78 to get to 287 to go north dont do it at rush hour as both routes have a lot of traffic in those times. If going through Harrisburg I would pick up 81 north to 84 by Scranton depending on how far north you are going in NY or New England states. h

Fasten down anything that might move. We went through there a couple of years ago and I swear I shook loose a couple of teeth. I was very surprised to find that nothing broke. I have been on dirt/gravel that was a better driving surface than I 287. Other than that and a lot of traffic there is nothing to prevent you from taking that route.

njdirt thanks! I'm going south so I will take your advice and take Rt 84 to Scranton and pickup Rt 81 south. Not much longer and probably a lot more scenic. Thanks again all, its been along time since I traveled south thru NJ and PA.
