Does anyone have any recomendation for taking this trip (Decatur Indiana to Las Vegas) from the Fleetwood Factory to Las Vegas in early November ? I see Google Maps routes you through Colorado as a quickest route but I have concerns about mountain passes and winter weather. has anyone made this trip that could shed some light on the matter. I will be driving a American Eagle 42F

I have made that trip many times. If in November, I would definitely recommend I-70 West to St Louis and then down through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and into Nevada. I-70 West of Denver can be treacherous that time of year even into Utah.

That is what I would do. I have traveled Vegas to Flagstaff and to Illinois on I-40/I-44 a lot.

been going from Pa to las vegas for the past 10 years. 70 to st louie, take the 255 loop around st louie. back on 44 right to 40 in oklahoma city. 40 all the way to kingmen az.. than the option of going through the hoover dam or going to laughlin and into vegas. nice drive and shouldn't have to worry about snow, however 4 years ago we did get stuck in Amarillo tx on nov 4 in a freak snow storm, but that was unusual.
