Open the burner area and blow it out with your air compressor.
Never pass up a chance to go somewhere

I have a 93 coachman it was doing the same thing. I was down to 1/4 tank of gas.Went and filled it up and it started working again. Another time we blew the line out with air. Pointed the air nozzle down so as not to blow the little vents out and watched all the rust and dust come out. Good Luck

I had this same problem on my Norcold 682 several weeks ago. It was a bad ignition module. This little black box is mounted near the back of fridge and has a red wire that leads to the burner. There is no thermocouple on this model of fridge. The ignition module is reads the resistance from the red ignition wire to determine if a flame is produced.
Since an Ignition Module cost $186 at my local store, I would check the items that were mentioned before.
I always purge air from the gas lines by lighting the stove prior to attempting the fridge. It could take up to three off/on cycles before enough gas gets to the fridge. Check for rust particles clogging the burner and blow it out with compressed air.

I have a 682 there is NO PILOT, only the burner, this is not like a water heater, so either the flame is to small, or the cooling unit is bad, if you have a flame that stays on all the electronics are working
Options, always have options, and the journey goes much smoother

I'm going to try and blow it out when I get off work. There is a little flame when you 1st turn it on and the electronic ignition is clicking away and the flame goes out when the clicking stops (and the X comes back on the panel.)
When you say the burner, is it just the approx. 3/8" dia tubing. There's not a hidden burner behind the sheet metal where the exhaust vent is, is there?
I don't like not having a backup going down the road. We usually run the generator to power the refrigerator, a/c and all but like our last trip to Branson, the generator stopped while driving. I finally figured it out as I was below a 1/4 tank of gas. I wan the refrigerator to keep going in case of that.
Thanks, John

Ok, I've got about a 2/3 - 3/4 tank of gas and I took off the sheet metal box around the burner. All that is going there is the burner and the electronic ignition wire. Had my wife turn it on and the burner lights up fully and stays lite for about the 10 seconds until the electronic ignition stops and then the flame goes out. I guess I need to see if the ignition module is bad. Something is not letting the gas to stay on.

Just got back from our trip to South Dakota last night and still haven't found out why it would not stay on LP mode. We just ran the generator both going and coming home to keep the food cold. Well when I shut off the generator and we started to unload, guess what? It was running in LP mode. I have no idea on why it wouldn't run before except that maybe there was a little of debris in the burner and got blown out just going down the road. I haven't tried it this morning but will try it again today.
Thanks for everyones help and suggestions

It may be the board BUT did you ever blow out the burner assembly and air/fuel mixture or did you just look? If you didn't do that, I sure would before I went any further. More than likely you can not see the debris if there is any. I tap the flu with a dowel rod and get the loose stuff to fall then blow it out.
