We just replaced the Red Lighted Switch on ours as the bulb inside the switch burned out....cost $1.00.

I have a 2004 Endeavor and the hot water light switch when on propane only comes on if the unit is not working. If it mis-fires three times and will not light, the light will come on to tell you it is not working. When on electric mode, the light stays on all the time. This is two different switches and light indicators. Yours may be the same panel, not sure.

I assume we probably have a similar panel. The hot water switch is a lighted swith and comes on and stays on whenever the switch is in the on position. Mine burned out about 4 years ago and the heater continued to work fine. I replaced the lighted rocker switch with the exact replacement switch I bought at a dealer for around $5-$6. For me, $6 is not worth messing around with trying to replace an internal light within the switch. The switch easily pops out and new one in for $6. I even bought a couple of extras in the white and black trim as they were used throughout the RV for other things also.
