Hi,
Can you guys give me some tips how to work under the coach?
Mine is 06 Fleetwood Revolution and I am have a problem with the hydraulic lines for Power Gear jacks.
I need to locate the lines and pull the bad ones out and try to install new ones.
Any ideas?
Or spend $125 per hour at the shop to do. They don't know how many hours it will take to do the job.
Thanks in advance.

If the jacks are still working, use them to raise the coach up high enough to easily get under it without lifting the tires off the ground. Then place a set of 6 or 8 ton (each) jack stand under each frame rail and then raise the jacks all the way up which will lower the coach onto the jack stands to support the coach while you work under it. Make sure the jacks come all the way up, because if not, there will still be pressure in the hyd lines from the jack return springs.
Then remove the hyd line from each jack and follow it to the pump.

If working on a hard surface, a creeper would be nice.

This one is from Harbor Freight. $20
If you could drive onto some ramps or blocks it would give you more head room. Make sure the wheels are scotched for safety.

First.. IF YOU ARE working on the jack hydraulic lines DO NOT USE Leveling Jacks to raise the rig.. Use lumber Drive up onto a 2x6, then a 4x4 otr two 2x6's stacked, and so on and so on till it's high enough for you to work (NOTE, if stacking don't go too high) you can also use lynx Levelers (Leggo Bblocks) or other leveling devices or even ramps.
DO NOT USE JACKS on the rig.. You can use aux jacks (like my 12 ton air/hydraulic bottle jack) but truthflly, I'd lift the rig and set it back down on a wood pad.
Of course on my Damon.. I can get under it flat on the ground.. GOOD clearance

Will you be dumping air also? Not sure how your rig is set up but don't get caught under it with it aired up. I like to see the frame on jacks when possible. I have driven up on 2 x 10's but always dump the air before I go under.

For around 30 bucks, you can buy some 2X12, screw a couple of layers together and drive up on them. I'd rather drive up on something than have a vehicle on jacks. Since you are competing with 120 bucks an hour, you can afford to build up a fairly elaborate ramp setup.
My setup is that the coach is parked on a hill. I have the hill leveled with RR ties stacked 24 inches high on one side. The other side is on solid ground so neither side will move. Its a very safe stable setup.

The jacks aren't holding up the chassis the air bags are. I've crawled under mine many times to grease it and do some maintenance work. If you are not dumping the air, I would get me a comfy creeper and get to work.

Drive upon boards - every year someone dies from a vehicle dropping on them. If it can't fall, your safe!

The suggestion, which I agree with, is to use jack STANDS, not jacks.
Wood works too, but it's sometimes difficult to get up as high on 2X10s, especially with 4 of them for the duals. Total of 6 sets of planks?
Jacking/jack stands might well be easier and cheaper.
