I'm trying to find Calgon in my area, but haven't had any luck. I've also searched the US WallyMart, Kmart & Meijers websites & gotten no results.

I'm going to be down to Indy later in Aug' & was wondering if there were any members from the area that know (have personally bought it) where I can buy Calgon while I'm there?

We gave up trying to find it locally and ordered it online from Amazon.com.

Why Calgon? Can't use another fabric softener product?

Big box grocery stores have it. It did require a search however.

It's not a fabric softener it is a water softener. Makes the water slick and also makes the walls of the holding tank slick which makes it harder for stuff to stick to it.

If you ever happen to visit Wilmington, NC in your travels, they have it at Walmart....or at least they did a few months ago, as I noticed it on the shelves in the laundry soap area.

I knew that, sorry. Stupid computer. But surely some other "slick" product will work. What about liquid dish detergent?
