You are NOT running everything
You have access to everything
Your EMS is.doing the load management for you
To actually use multiple powerheavy services simultaneously you would.have.to be connected to 50a service

You need the 50 amps. You will only be able to run one air conditioner on 30 amps.

Not necessarily true, it all depends on the coach's Energy Management System (EMS). My Intellitec system allows me to run both A/C's on 30 amp service. Not sure how it does it, but the rear air seems to be operating at a lower efficiency level when on 30 amp. My EMS will also shed power to other appliances such as the refer and each A/C, should I need power for the microwave or coffee pot.

My roof airs both running at the same time draw 26 amps. My ems will shed power in order to start them because they draw much more on the startup but once running they both run just fine. I can hear when each compressor is running vs just fans. If I turn the microwave on then one ac will switch to fan but I have no trouble with 30amp.

Ditto...this is what I was referring to.

Same for me. This was one of the requirements for our purchase as we stay at friends and family driveways more than camp grounds and rarely have access to more than 30 amps.

If the coach has a 50 amp power line and requires 50 amps then I would get 50 amp service.

The first thing to consider is that 50-amp is at 220 volts, not 110. You actually have 2 50 amp 100 volt lines going to your RV, a total of 100 amps of 110 volt power.

That is why a 50-amp line makes so much difference.

They made the coach with a 50 amp plug for a reason.
