We have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, Class A. The display panel only works on occasion. Most times, we can't judge the level of the gray tank, black tank, fresh water tank and propane.
Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem?

Mine did that when the house batteries were low.

assuming full battery power, you may want to chk power connections to control. Turn battery disconnect to off... remove panel and look for loose wire or ground going into the control.

Another issue...I'm repeating it here but I have just posted another question. Maybe you can help again...On same panel is the hot water switch indicator. It does not work. You can't tell if the hot water heater is on since the indicator light does not come on. The hw heater works fine. Should I replace the switch? The light?
Thanks again.

I see two possible problems if you push the button and the panel remains dark

1: Bad switch
2: Bad switch
3: Bad Switch
4: Bad connection, Most likely ground but possibly POsitive lead

Multi-Meter is your friend.

Note if you can access the switch "pins" (Or the wires to the switch) to test switch simply Jumper them together (There should only be two wires/pins) or use Multimeter on AMPS red toward the battery.

Or measure (Black to ground) voltage on both pins, one should have battery voltage all the time, the other when the switch is pressed.

If switch tests bad.. Find the fuse that feeds it, and pull the fuse

Then operate switch 2-5 dozen times with no fuse. Replace fuse and see if it works now.. Sometimes it works (not often) But what do you expect for a free fix?
