We don't have the Class-C problem but we do have the Diesel problem (meaning they want to charge us $150 for an oil change). Since we are full-timers most parks frown on me changing the oil in their spots, for obvious reasons, so I buy my oil and filter at an auto parts store and drive up to the Jiffy Lube. Usually it is a kid who greets you so I just make it sound easy... "How much to drop the drain plug, drop the filter, and re-screw them in; then top it off with oil?" Average price has been $25.
If I were in your shoes I would scope out the locations first for width and height; make sure you fit. Then do the same as I do. Make it easy for them to say yes.
On another note I run full-synthetic for those times when I will go over the normal maintenance schedule. Buys a bit of comfort.

Are these Jiffy Lubes with bay doors tall enough for you or do they do this for you flat outside of the bay. We just haven't found a Jiffy Lube with tall enough bays to drive in from the back and clear the AC unit. We could go in the front door, but they have refused.

I'm going to be doing prolly somewhere around a 9 to 10,000 mile trip from the end of August until March or April and I'll be running into this problem myself. I've had problems trying to get an oil change at home here in CT with the Class C. The truck mechanics say its too small for them and most garages say it's too big for them. Most refuse to do it flat outside because of environmental concerns. They say it's against the law. I have found one that will do it, though. Worse comes to worse, I'll just do it myself. I'm guessing that whoever sells you the oil will take your old back to recycle it like they do here in CT. Advance Auto, NAPA, Auto Zone to name a few provide this service.

Do it myself. As others have said, I normally do it before leaving on a long trip, even if it is a few miles early.

Almost any local "independant" shop can handle it. The "Jiffy Lubes" and the rest of the "chains" are not where I would go. Truck stops are for trucks, you have a class C which is basicly a van chassis. Independent shops usually have well rounded experienced machanics used to working on all types of vehicles...

I change mine myself. Book calls for 5000 but I go 10k. On a long trip I will continue to top off as needed and change upon return.

Either they don't have a bay tall enough (we are only 11') or they won't work on RV's even though our Class C is really just a Ford 350 Econoline Van when it comes to changing the oil. We stopped at 2 different Ford dealerships today. One said they couldn't do it because they didn't have an RV bay and the last one after considerable persuasion and a 2 hour wait, we got an oil change.
We have been trying to find a place for quite a few days. I just was wondering what everyone else does to get your oil changed. Since I'm almost nearly always on-the-road in my rig. I change mine myself in Walmart Supercenter parking lots. I carry my own plastic tub to catch the nearly 4-gallons of used oil, and tote it back to the Walmart Auto Service center in one of their grocery buggies to recycle it. I also give them the old oil filter. I carry paper towels and Windex spray to clean-up my plastic oil pan tub. I buy 4 gallons of Shell Rotella T 15W-40 from the Walmart I am changing at.
Never had a problem in 25 years of oil changing @ Walmarts myself. I like to save money DIYing it. It's basically a win-win for me because I can change my oil by miles exactly on-time - even when on-the-road.
Always have changed oil on all my vehicles starting when I was kid changing our family lawn mower engine oil every few weeks.

I would check with a Valvoline Instant Oil Change if there are any around you. I have a class C also, and on a trip out of town one day I realized my driver's side windshield wiper was messed up. I pulled into the Valvoline Oil Change place and they were happy to help me. They then gave me a coupon book and let me know they also changed oil on RVs. They could do a flat change right out back.
I don't know if this place is just real well managed and the employees really care, or if that happens to be a policy for all the franchises. It would be worth looking into. If you go to vioc.com and enter the local zip code you can see if there are any places local to you.
