Most drivers license reciprocity agreements work by if you are legal where you are licensed, you are legal to drive at the 'other' location. So in the UK, can you drive a class A with your license?
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this applies to air brakes as well - if you don't need them where you are from, you don't need them where you are visiting. (e.g. I'm licensed in Ontario, Canada so need an air brake certification but drivers from QC or NY or other provices/states can drive in Ontario without air brake certification).
As far as the international license, I don't think you need one if you are visiting less than 60 days but you probably want to double check that.
