People replacing tires with Hankook tires where are you finding tire pressure charts. Replacing Goodyear G670 275 70 22.5 14 ply with Hankook AH12 16 ply 275 70 22.5. Was running 96 psi in Goodyears by weight charts. Seems with the 16 ply could run less. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I thought I had it book marked, but can't locate it. With our coach, based on a 4 corner weight, we lowered the pressure 5# when we switched from G670 to AH-12. The ride and handling is 1000X better with the new AH-12 over the G670 junk.

I wrote this guy to get it.

I also sent you an e-mail. It took a while for him to respond so I am happy to forward it to you if you would like.

I don't know for sure, but I think all tire manufacturers have the same inflation pressure tables. In other words, if you buy 16 ply (H rated) 275/H80R22.5 tires they will all have the same load carrying capacity at a given inflation pressure no matter who manufactured them.

I would if I could. It isn't linked to a web page and wasn't an attachment. It was embedded in the e-mail. I forwarded it to Harold. Perhaps he can figure out how to post it. If you want to send me an e-mail I would be happy to forward it to you to and then you could post it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The inflation pressure tables come from the US Tire and Rim Association (http://www.us-tra.org/traHome.html) but you need to be a member to access the charts on their site. The manufacturer should be able to supply you the info.

Yes, that is a good pressure chart for Hankook----
But what is strange comparing chart to Goodyear's 14 ply to Hankook 16 ply 275 70 22.5 Goodyear tires for same pressure show a higher load rating. Also max air pressure is lower on Hankook tires.
