Also, this may be very un-PC, but Merry Christmas to all.
Got an email this morning from a friend in Wichita Falls, she said people have been stranded in their cars for about 24 hours - the roads/highways into/out of Wichita Falls have been closed due to the snow and ice. They have been trying to work with the highway patrol to see if they can't take out the 4wheelers and tractors to get these people to a safe place. Be safe, be careful and be happy!
Hope y'all had a Merry Christmas!!!

We were suppose to leave for east texas today, but have already paid for another night. Probably won't get out until Monday or Tuesday. The roads are clearing but not enough to be safe from those who think they are NASCAR drivers and at the moment getting out of the RV park would be a challenge. We're retired so we will just sit tight until things improve.
We still have friends in WF and they aren't getting out. Had some other friends stranded on US 287 about 25 miles from us and they had to stay there for 17 hours before getting clear.
Got a call this morning from another friend that got to WF from Bowie on US 287 and it took them five hours to go the 45 miles.
