Yesterday I replaced a hose that was starting to show that it had been rubbing against a angle iron from the battery compartment. The hose on the Caterpillar engine goes from the CAC to the engine turbo charger.
It was a piece of cake to change out. Big hose 4.5" on the CAC end and 3.5" where it attaches to the engine turbo, and 35" long.

I also replaced the topper on the living room, kitchen slide. That took me about two hours but fairly easy to change the vinyl material on it. Once you pin the cylinder the rest is easy.

I also order the two air conditioner shrouds to replace them since I noticed that they were starting to get some small cracks where the screws go. One come in already and I installed it right away. The other should come in Monday from Amazon.

Just got back from a trip and decided it was time to do a little maintenance on the coach, get it ready for another trip in October and the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque, N.M.

Well to be truthful, what the tech did!

1: Replaced the transfer switch. Direct replacement no longer available so had to replace some cables. The old one was becoming intermittent and sometimes wouldn't switch back to shore power when the gen was turned off.

2: Redid the mounting of the solar panels: ALL the screws showed rust, some seriously rusted. Two had pulled out out of the roof because the *%&(^ UNtech who mounted them had used straight long angle brackets on a curved roof!

Since they all had to come out and be redone, had him make them tiltable 4 ways and moved a bit so that in the future the 2 80 watt panels can be replaced with 130s to match the other two. Lots of screw holes to be filled! Pics one of these days!

3: Also had him mount a swing arm bracket for the led TV. Now I just have to finish the cabinet shelving and hope the satellite receiver cables reach the new location!

Brakes front and rear, rotors didn't need to replace calipers. New electrical connector for toad.

Brakes ruined the budget.

A few things on the agenda this season:
- Installed Cobra 75 WXST CB Radio, Firestik antenna - drilling two holes in the wall was a little traumatic, but worked out well in the end. Measure more than twice, drill once....
- Replaced failed Weldex rear camera with help from Tim @ rvcams. Thanks to the forum for this guidance. I started out going down a cheaper route and learned the hard way all 4-pin video connectors are not the same.
- new Trico wiper blades from wipers123.com

Nothing major, but I did install a 1" diameter dowel between the kitchen counter and an overhead cupboard to give it better support.

Bought and am now waiting for delivery of a Lodge portable cast iron charcoal grill. Been putting it off for quite a while trying to find something in cast aluminum like were commonly available years ago.

Installed new camco sewer vents. Hope that clears up the sewer smell when driving down the road.

Well getting ready for my next big dog show so took the RV in
for oil change... noticed water dropping down on the dash.
Well Speedy Auto Glass noticed the windshield pulling away from the
seal... so getting it properly sealed before heading on the road.
Last year it was the driver's windshield...
