After 3 years of wanting to replace my carpet......it is finally being done. The main salon being done in oak engineered hardwood, the rest a high quality commercial carpet... it wasn't cheap, but I really like my unit....if I bought a newer one what I'd pay in sales tax here in Calif (9.75%) would pay for my carpet 3 times over. How is that for rationalizing ?

I have some clean clothes that need to go back out, and there are a few dishes out there to put away. I bought new steak knives that arrived yesterday, and I need to get the others out and so DD can put them in her camping box. So I haven't done anything today, but I plan to be out there in a little while. After I cool it off I might watch tv and take a nap too. LOL

I had a bay door painted because I was a dumb $#% and raised the door too high and then proceeded to extend the slide. As I was extending the slide I heard a scratching sound and in my infinite wisdom I thought, well maybe it needs to go in and out a few times. Well the sound did not go away! Later I realized what caused the sound. I'm usually good for one dumb mistake each year. I hope this was the one!

I looked out the bathroom window in the house while brushing my teeth and looked at the MH sitting there without me. Maybe when I get home from work I will sit in the drivers seat and go "vroom-vroom" just like our GS does.

Maybe tonight I will convince the DW that we need to take it out this weekend. It is getting lonely. [emoticon]

Surface rust was getting worse and worse so decided I was done procrastinating and wire brushed and painted the black metal area next to the basement door seals. Used black satin rustoleum.

Added six high intensity LED street pod lights to my Girad awning. installation took some effort to hide all wires and get power into the coach but it turned out looking like the factory installed it. I am very pleased with the amount of patio light I now have and it only pulls just over one amp. We do mostly dry camping so this is a great addition. These can be found at www.streetilluzionz.com there are a high quality billet aluminum housing light.
Next I am thinking about adding some more of these for docking lights.
