Some stations have lowered the price of gasoline by 2¢ a gallon to $2.73. Diesel is still around $2.96.

Have to amend the price. In the immediate Duluth area the price of gasoline is $2.73. Just outside of Duluth (like Virginia, MN) the price is $2.65. Been trying to figure out why Duluth prices are so high compared to the surrounding (Minnesota) area where prices run 8-10¢ a gallon cheaper (including Sam's Club). Supposedly the state, a number of years ago, investigated and found there wasn't any problems with the price differentials.

well, gas prices leapt up to $2.79 here . For only a $1 or 2 increase in a barrel of oil, that's a big jump in gas prices. Getting tired of 10¢ increase in prices and really slow drops of 2¢ now and then. Someone besides the gov't is increasing their incoming cash flow.

Yikes, gas prices went up again. Now $2.84 a gallon. Just when we're planning a trip for the 24th.

Whoops, made an error. The price is $2.85. But this morning I filled up at Sam's Club for $2.74. Several hours later the DW filled up for $2.79 at Sam's.
