Two days ago gas was 2.59 at stations. Yesterday it was up to 2.63. Today same station and others are up to 2.69. To bad it comes down slower that it goes up.

I think that was a subtle hint by a mod. to keep it on topic and the politics out.

I'm somewhat surprised that the price of fuel around here has remained somewhat stable during the BP well leak. Not that I'm complaining, you understand.....

So much for "stable" gas prices. First they dropped 2¢ a gallon, then went up 6¢ a gallon. Now back at $2.79 a gallon, except for Sam's club where it is $2.72 a gallon. And today the price per barrel was around $75.

I was wondering what you RV-ers are paying for gasoline now a daysI live in Canada..But I'm only 5 miles from Massena,N.Y. United States..and I go acrooss the border at least once a week for gas.......(FOR YOU INFOMATION: 1-U.S.gal. eguals 3.7 litres ) Gas in Horganburg,N.Y. is $2.75 a U.S.gal. or for 3.7 litres of gas....So If our gas right now where I live is 99.9 cents a litre that would be $3.70 a U.S.gal.....a difference of .95 cents..So you can imagine where I'll be filling my gas tank on my motorhome

Two years ago I paid $4.60 a gallon in Teton National Park. Luckily I started at a 1/2 tank. But it still hurt.....

Hi SRT...Yes I remember that..I drive long haul transport for a company based out of Canada www.CAT.CA We go all over USA and Canada,,I remeber when fuel for our trucks was $1.50 a litre or just over $5.oo an American Gallon..I used to go to Laredo TX a lot.. Our fuel for our trucks ran between $3.00 & $5.00.per U.S gallon.. Pretty bad when our trucks only get 6 miles per gallon..It was hard to make ends meet...Lots or brokers and companys went broke...
