RE: Ugly Encounter at Campground

I have been camping for many years and my inlaws (now deceased)tent camped for many more years before that and it has always been an unwritten rule that you do not cut through another campers site. This is just pure courtesy just as I would not cut through someones yard at their home. People are just plain lazy and rude and we should try to get back to the times when people respected others property and privcy. JMHO.

RE: Long Island to Lake George Route

The route you described (Throgs Neck, I95, 287) is probably the best if you are towing. We usually take the same route with or coach when we go to Lake George. Have fun when you go!!

RE: Replacing Air Dryer on Diesels

I am talking about replacing the entire air dryer- not just the filter cartridge.

Haldex or Bendix

I am having a problem with the air dryer on my coach. Currently I have a Haldex 34160 installed. I went to Freightliner and they gave me a Bendix AD-9. They said that the Bendix is a better unit. When I got it home it seems that all of the ports on the Bendix are in different positions than the Haldex and would probably require the addition of a piece of air line to each of the existing lines. Also, the mounting is entirely different from the Haldex. My question, what are the feelings on the 2 air dryers. Is one better than the other?

Replacing Air Dryer on Diesels

I was having a problem with the air dryer on my coach. I went to Freightliner to get a new air dryer and they gave me a Bendix AD9. I currently have a Haldex DA34160 installed. They said that this was a replacement for the Haldex. I was wondering if anyone had installed the AD9 where a Haldex dryer was installed and if any modifications were necessary to install the Bendix air dryer. Thanks.

Coachnet Renewal

Has anyone renewed their Coachnet lately? I just received my renewal notice in the mail and they want $108/year. Is this what everyone is paying to renew? Thanks.

RE: DEAR, MARCUS

years of purchases why not issue some of us (me) some accesseries to try on our trips and we (me) will report back to this forum the good or bad of the product. it could be a oppertunity for lowcost advertisement. Im not talking about exspensive stuff but items under $50 bucks or so.What do you think? I will only know if you reply or send a PM to me to say why or why not this would work. PS I have a 30' TT lol. Will:W Isn't this part of the promotion when you sign up for Good Sam Club? That people will be chosen and receive, free, new products to test out and report back on?

RE: windshield wiper blade replacement

Keep watching CW. They had a promotion a while back where you got 1 free when you bought 1. I think I got the 2, 32" blades for around $40.

RE: 2012 Forest River Berkshire

You get a great bang for your buck with the Berkshire. Very pleased with mine and yes, I would recommend it to my friends. If you want a diesel pusher, this would be a very good choice. You might also want to take a look at this site. Scroll down to the Berkshire section. http://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/
