RE: Keeping Mice & other Critters out of Motorhome
Put a dryer sheet in every outside compartment and a couple inside your trailer. Mice cant stand the smell of dryer sheets plus it makes your trailer smell good. I store my trailer outside next to my hay barn and do not have any problems with mice inside my trailer.

RE: Weight Station - First time
DOT scales are ment for commerical vehicle traffic. BUT.... DOT Officers CAN stop anybody (private or commercial) for any safety reasons like previously stated. Just like a local police officer would not know the first thing about most DOT laws, but if he saw a loaded 18 wheeler with blown rear tires, or oversized without placards or any other unsafe situation, they can and will stop you and quite possible call DOT to your location....

Good to the coachman website and call thier customer service. You should be able to just order a complete replacement window from the OEM. Go to your local coachman dealer if one is available
Oh wow... One of the window guys told my sister that Coachman went out of business and I never even thought to verify that statment. I just searched coachman website and looks like the nearest dealer is 67 miles away so I will give them a call!!! Thanks for the idea

Window replacement for Catalina?
My sister and brother-in-law have a 1995 Catalina 5th wheel and on their last trip the latch failed on the window in the bedroom and the window blew open bending the latch, window frame and cracked the glass. They have taken their trailer to two different glass repair places and both places told them the trailer was too old and they could not repair the window. The window is currently duct taped closed and we are leaving in two weeks for colorado and they want to get it fixed before then. Any ideas? Thanks all

Winding River Resort, Grand Lake Co
Hello all,
The end of Aug we will be staying at Winding River Resort in Grand Lake, Colorado. We have never been to this campground but according to their website and rvparkreviews.com it seems to be a decent campground. My only question/concern is there does not seem to be any pictures of the campground online anywhere!! I have found a few older pic that were taken prior to the tree removal and nina_70 trip report in July of last year. We will be staying in W/E only and understand most sites are dirt/gravel. Anybody else been there and know anything good, bad or otherwise about the campground? Thanks to all and hope everybody has a safe but fun memorial weekend!!!
