RE: Blue Sky RV Park Yuma

We stay at southern mesa rv park for the last four years. The park is old but good size spots and the people are great. Kind of like the campers run the park. Also the price is right

RE: over heated & Broke down, Now in Prescott Az

Maybe try some super glue to get you to the repair place. This is pending how bad the tank is broken
I'd be tempted to patch the tank, fill with water just to determine the engine status. I'm not suggesting highway driving.

RE: reversed polarity on plug?

Just do it now. I had a friend that is not with us anymore because of this. If you are put accross what should be the negative and earth ground and it is wired wrong you will be shocked. Many items have just the two wires to them and if they are reversed the outside of the item has a charge on it and if you touch that and are grounded you will be shocked. Please fix it now and talk to the people that wired it.

RE: Satellite Fee's from Direct TV, city to city free

Doesn't this just give you the main chanels but not all the locals? As I was told if I signed up for it i would recieve the Mail Chanels (ABD,CBS ECT) but the chanels like chanel 11 here I still wouldn't get??????
Since our rig IS our HOME I guess I'm stuck paying the $15 bucks...on second thought, I think that's worth it not having to call Direct every time we move locations.....too much aggravation IMHO....Dennis

RE: Plugged into 50amp, getting 30amp

Try turnning off all the breakers in the coach and then turning them back on. All of them.

RE: Plugged into 50amp, getting 30amp

Adapter????????
I have tried pushing the button to change to 50amp. It read 50 amp before. But now I am definitely only getting 30amp. It tripped my circuit breaker yesterday when I turned on my air, It was the air circuit breaker that tripped yet I still had AC. I am plugged in with the correct 50amp plug. I have had to use my adapter before so I do know I am plugged in correctly.
I am thinking it is an issue with the campsite electric. I am going to check it out with the owners today. Maybe ask some of my fellow campers what they are getting. Just never had this problem before.

RE: refer on propane???

The refer is run on the house batteries. But if you keep starting your engine from the house batteries it takes a lot of power from the house batteries. I'd spend the extra for the engine battery.

Cut a small piece of rubber and put it inside the loop. The rubber trying to go flat again opens the loop

RE: EXHAUST HEAT WILL MELT MUD FLAP

X2
I assume that you are talking about the full length mud flaps that go across the back end of the MH. I don't have one of those but I do have two mudflaps installed just behind the rear wheels. I tow a CRV and these mudflaps seeem to stop any rocks or debries from flying up and hitting the Toad. Works for me and I see no need for a full width mud flap. In fact I have heard that the full flaps can drag on the ground on dips in the road and throw up debries and or rocks that would probably not even be disturbed without the full flap. So look into having flaps installed behind the rear wheels as an option.

RE: Sumitomo Tires 275 70r22.5

I didn't go cheap. I went with the best quality I could find at the cheapest price I could find. In this case I believe Sumitomo. This is also what my Workhorse repair shop recomended
Once again I have never understood why people want to go cheap on the single most important thing on your RV. Your life rides on your tires and everybody thinks cheap is best. Not me mister, I value my life and my families way more. You pay for what you get.
