I keep getting these Emails saying that my Amazon order has been canceled. The funny thing is that I have not ordered anything from Amazon.
Why do you keep opening the emails?

Good question and I don't have a clue.
I never open anything that comes from an address I don't recognize.
First, why would anyone I don't know email me anything? Well duh, they don't. Unless of course they want something.
I have an email program that deletes and bounces any email that is from an address I don't have on my recipient list.
I never see the email, it gets bounced back to them indicating I am an invalid email address and the world keeps on revolving.
I don't understand the uncontrollable urge to open an email. There is nothing that important that cannot be missed.
Well, unless you like junk mail, scammers and an occasional correspondence with someone after your bank account.

I admit I am a bit older which may be the reason I don't like any of the new cars.
Boring designs, no individuality. They all look alike.
However, our 30 year old son gave me hope. He said he thinks all new
cars look like "balls of snot with wheels."

I have found a simple solution to phone and email scams.
If it is a phone call and I do not personally know the person calling, I hang up.
There is no valid reason for anyone who I don't know to call me, so I hang up. Problem solved.
For email scams I have a Mailwasher program that automatically deletes and bounces any email I receive that is from someone that is not on my recipient list. I don't even see the emails. Once again, problem solved.
There is no reason to talk to a stranger on the phone and no reason to open an email from someone you do not know.

Well, first thing that would happen would be all teenagers would be rendered mute with no cell phones and no texting.
They would also have no friends because they have never talked face to face with anyone.:)

I know on a computer we can go in and partition the hard drive, I wonder at 68 yr of age if there is a way to partition my brain so I can retain more info.
We are the same age and my problem is that my brain is partitioning parts of itself off so I can't use them.
The next few years should be interesting, that is if I can remember them. :S

We have several ethanol free gas stations in this area.
I will not put that E-10 junk in my vehicles unless I have to.
How does one find said stations?

I haven't seen a "cash discount" gas in a long time.
Gas stations in our area have two prices on their signs.
One is for the credit price and the other is the price for using cash.
The cash price is 10 cents a gallon cheaper.

Everyone...............slow deep breaths.
In...........out..........in.........out.
The last thing I do is let someone upset me while I am driving.
First, it affects my driving and second, it gives them control over me.
I drive the best I can, watch out for others and the rest is just so much white noise.

Geeze, I had written out how I carry and deal with my money. then I read it before posting. glad I did. tells people too much and sounds like bragging.
Those were my thoughts also.
However I don't use credit cards. I carry my money around in a wheelbarrow so everyone can see how filthy rich I am.:p

Having me get upset won't change a thing and I won't let anyone have that much control over me.
I don't even make eye contact with them anymore. It isn't worth it.
They don't exist, my blood pressure is great and my world is content.

If I want a song I can't find I go to YouTube.
If they have the song (video) posted I have a program called Listen to YouTube that downloads the audio and converts it to an mp3.
Listen to YouTube is a free program and works very well.

I used to do that all the time.
Now I keep one cane in my wife's car, one in my car, one at the front door, one at the back door and one mounted on my motorcycle.
If I forget one now I have more problems than needing a cane.:B
