RE: WASHER DRYER INSTALL

LG is not vented and will fit the same size space as the Splendide. Have had our LG for six years and works great-no wrinkles, larger load, etc. More expensive but well worth it!

RE: St.Anthony's - June

If you have time and are near Bryce stay at King Creek Campground on the Topic Reservior just west of Bryce(do not stay at Rubys) -the riding is excellent and you will have your own private Bryce without the tourist crowds! And you can do a 80 mile round trip to Casto Canyon(near Panguich) from King Creek.
While at Coral Pink-don't miss the trails(Moqui and one towards Zion).

RE: packrats attack

Also have had good luck with lights. With our mid-engine cannot open the hood so we placed lights on the engine-the two Pack Rats did not return. PS-poisen did not work as they towed away a heavily wired rat trap.

RE: St.Anthony's - June

Paddle tires not needed so much for Coral but would be quite helpful at St. Anthony for the Honda. Will be at St. Anthony sometime this summer but not sure when. Run the RZR in 4WD and you will not need paddle tires for it. Not hard to find your way around just go slow at first remembering the sand changes quite often.
Recommend Egin Lake federal campground at St. Anthony and South Forty in Marysvale.

RE: Toy Hauler Bus?

Mid engine diesel. Is the engine just ahead of the rear axle, or just behind the front axle?
Neither, its halfway between axles(Cummins ISL)mounted forward facing.

RE: Diamond Shield mask

Removed ours in the sun by just pulling it off(85 degrees). Removed glue with cloth and Acetone. Paint underneath was excellent except where stones had gone thru the DS.

RE: Monaco vs Tiffin

Gentlemen,
This discussion has gone far afield from the OP's question. It was a very simple one line question concerning two coach brands and most of the posts have been non responsive to that question.
Does anyone have any response to the original question.
Yes, unless one of the manufacturers has major problems(which would be a major concern if we were buying a new coach) relative to his specific build(s), there is no need to weigh any advantage/disadvantage of warrantee locations or bankrupcy. as most all RV dealers are able to do warantee work on anciliary products which comprise the majority of RV issues.
Having had two new coaches over the past ten years driving 100,000 plus miles(Fleetwood & Newmar) we have only returned to the orginal dealer/manufacturer one time(Fleetwood).
Buy the Floor Plan you like best at the best price period!!!

RE: Advice on 4 wheel ATV

Would also recommend a side-by-side(UTV) over a two-up(ATV)front/back. Recommend either a Kawasaki Mule 610(400cc) or Polaris(RZR) 570cc-both of which are 1000lbs., 50-52 inches wide and 108-109 inches long. Either one will do fine in the Arizona dessert or beyond.

RE: LED versus LCD

Went with LEDs due to being brighter(helps when your eyes are gettin old). In addition due to thickness was able to mount one on a wall adjacent to a slide that only had a couple of inches of room. Manufacturer is irrelevent-just compare and pick the picture you like best.
Got a better picture, viewing angle, better blacks and brightness with a new 60" Plasma(no thicker or heavier than a LCD) for the house(first house in 20 years)-would not advise Plasma for coach due to heat. The smaller LED/LCDs have a better picture than the smaller Plasma.

RE: Toy Hauler Opinions Wanted

ME(Mid-Engine Cummins ISL)coach with garage for the toys(fits two Yamaha Grizlies and Harley or Mule-side by side) and tow the jeep or boat behind. Two full size beds in garage which acts a second bedroom-AC, TV, etc.
