RE: Had to buy at a different store

It sounds to me like the product you want is not in a very high demand. Warehouse space takes up room for products that sit for a year and do not sell. Did you ask them to order it for you so you could pick it up the next time you were at that store? I have done that at my local CW store several times. It works great, they call me when they have it and I pay no shipping!

RE: height measurement for Class A

I measured mine with a 2x4, a level and a tape measure. It is 12' 6". I never go under anything less than 13' and even then I look at the gas station roof! Maybe it was meaaured in the middle and not on the end!

RE: Quick and easy CD disposal

Ok, I have to ask this....Why do you need to go to all that trouble just to get rid of a CD? Unless you have all of your Porn on them who cares? Do you really think the bad guys are going to go through your trash and dig out your CDs and get your Bank stuff? If you are a Millionare maybe, but us normal folks? What can they get that isn't passworded? People are just too paranoid these days!

RE: Granted I was stupid but..

Good Sam's it not the only one who does this. I get the same thing from AAA,AARP, and lots of magazines and web sites. I just whip out their card and look at the date. They will always let me know when it is the right time!

RE: SiriusXM install in Vista 26P

We have had XM/ Sirius radio in our vehicles for many years. We have always just used the roof mount antenna with very few problems. In our 1995 Holiday Rambler the antenna just lays on the dashboard in the center and works great! We might have to move it a foot or two in the hills and tree places but only in very mountainous places does it not work and a roof mounted one probably would not work better there! Oh yea, we use a “portable” unit connected to an AUX input on the radio and move it from the RV to a daily use vehicle and have great reception.

RE: Where Were You?

I was stationed at Brooks Army Hospital in San Antonio TX Working in the "Burn Unit" trying to help all of our men who came home with burns from Napalm bombs! The ones WE dropped on them! I can still remeber the smell! But it was my honor to serve them!

RE: Time differences

"Quite frankly, I'd vote for ANY candidate that would get rid of Daylight Savings Time altogether!" Quite frankly I would vote for ANY candidate that makes DST ALL YEAR round! I like the extra sunlight when I get to the Campground! But then I sleep late!

RE: What was your Occupation??????

I was an Audio Engineer for 35 years. I set up and mixed the sound for concerts, conventions, churchs, etc. I am one of those guys who made you hard of hearing now! But WAIT it was you who wanted to stand right in front of those big a** speakers! I still do a few events for old friends and clients. My Fav now is the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise! Go out and support LIVE music!

RE: Need a campground for a few days in northern California.

It's a little off your path but our favorite in that aqrea is Casini Ranch about 20 miles off HWY 101 west from Santa Rosa. Nice, clean, family freindly camp ground with lots of diferent types of sites to choose from. It is a short drive to the Coast and great oysters if you have a toad!

RE: Shelf Life of Red Rum

Well, I don't like Red Rum much. My choice is CRUZAN from St. Croix but it lasts maybe a weekend? But then I never met a Rum I would not drink! Really Rum will last forever and get better with age as long as you keep it sealed.
