RE: Unicoi Springs Camp Resort

Right down the road from Unicoi is a nice little private campground called Creekside RV resort. Owned and run by a nice couple, Robert and Melissa. Only 18 spots, but very nice. They have a website.

RE: Foretravel

you need to get on foreforums.com, and become a member. Tons of info about Foretravels, and the first place members may list their coaches for sale.

RE: Museumside Classic: The Whatchamacallit Homebuilt RV

Not sure, but those tail lights look suspiciously like a late 50's Chrysler product.

RE: Considering class A's. what coaches are "above" Foretravel?

As an owner, I strongly recommend Foretravel. They are made so well, that average Joes like me can own one by purchasing an older unit and still be very happy. Only the very financially fortunate can afford a new Foretravel.

RE: Florida welcome center

If you are taking I-295 around Jax, a place called Flamingo Lakes RV park isn't far, and is nice. Availability this time of year in Fl. can always be a problem.

RE: Cleaning the ceiling "carpet"

try not to soak the fabric, as it may tend to sag

RE: Disc Brakes

My Foretravel has 4-wheel Meritor disc air brakes. No problems so far, but have been told that it's very important to use the proper grease for the caliper pins. In my case, a clay based grease.

RE: What are the High End Diesels?

We own an older Foretravel, and love it, but let me give you some good advice here. Pick a range of coaches that you like mechanically, then buy whichever one your WIFE LIKES, and live happily ever after!!
