RE: Big Bend National Park

The cat in the photo is a bobcat (Lynx rufus) that ranges from Oaxaca, Mexico to southern Canada. A lynx (Lynx canadensis) is larger and ranges from the northern USA through Canada and Alaska.

RE: Winstar RV Park Thackerville OK I-35 exit 1

We have stayed there and agree with all the above. There is also a very nice, new RV park at the Choctaw Casino near Durant, OK on US69. We don't gamble but go for the shows. Both Winstar and Choctaw bring in very good talent.

RE: Need a crispy Fried Chicken Recipe for the Dutch Oven

Here is a link to my favorite recipe. fried chicken recipe Using a Dutch oven you will need all the heat underneath and no lid, like a deep frying pan. Whether you use charcoal, campfire coals, or a propane burner, you need the oil hot so that is does not soak into the chicken.

RE: Where do you live?

Home is a small house (2 BR) on large lot (7/10 acre) with 80+ post oak trees. Sounds rural but we're in the center of 6.7 million people in the Dallas-Ft Worth metro area. So we are urban.

RE: Tiny Houses on Wheels

The reason they have wheels has nothing to do with towing. Because the owner can claim it's a trailer, it is not taxed as a permanent structure. Saves lots of money in places like California.

RE: New Tires For Small TT Heading to Alaska

I tow a similar size trailer with a Toyota Sienna. I've used 195R/14 Kumho Radial 857 tires for 2 years and I'm very pleased with their performance. I purchased the tires from TireRack.com. I have Airlift 1000 rear spring helper air bags which I inflate to 30 psi when towing. Also use a Draw-Tite single bar WDH. I'm not sure I would subject my 1980 model fiberglass trailer to an Alaskan trip, but I know the tires could make it. Bigfoot 15B17G
