Dish Net. LNB hookup

Have had Dish Net.and a Dish 500 non HD dish set up for about 3 years,(bring my box from home),got it all figured out and working fine.Just went to Dish Net.HD,bought a new DP+ D.N. HD dish, and just started figuring the new setup out, there are 3 heads on the HD LNB dish, which head do you hook to with a single coax,1,2,or 3,or does it not matter,I'm only going to use one box and one TV in the fiver,Thanks

RE: Hocking Hills,Logan,Ohio Qestion

If you get off on 22 you will have a lot of hills and some small towns. Drive is pretty but pain in the ass. Zanesville does have a Y Bridge. 93 will also take you to the caves but nothing is as good as 70 270 roads. It's been years since I drove 22 or 93 from Z ville it may have changed call or email OSP?
You can go to Brice Road Reynoldsburg exit take a left/south and intersect 33 taking 5or 10 miles off the trip. So you are saying to take 70W all the way to Columbus inner belt 270,then 33S to Logan ,but use the bypass around Lancaster to avoid the traffic? We are staying at Top Of The Caves campground, facing the lake,is it a nice campground.

Hocking Hills,Logan,Ohio Qestion

Daughter is getting married at the waterfalls,in Hocking Hills Ohio,we are taking the 5ver,and staying a week to make a little vacation out of it,great looking area.Question for someone from that area, coming west on 70 to Zanesville,is RT. 22 a good road to pull a big 5ver on,over to RT 33? Seems like a long way to go all the way to Columbus and around 270,to come back down 33 to Logan, just don't want to get stuck running a bad road on 22.....Thanks for any help, you can also PM if you like...Jack

RE: How to carry Blue tote w'/o bumper?

My 16 gal tote, if I take the small vent cap off,and compress slightly will just slide under my Reese hitch, and when I put the cap back on,it sticks up in front of my hitch and will not slide out from under my 5th wheel hitch,is out of the way, easy to get to,and cannot fly out of the bed.

RE: Music or not at the camp site?

I play Sirrus Satelite from the TV through my surround sound in my 5ver,at a low leval to my outside speakers, but always walk to the next campsite to make sure the neighbor cannot hear my Country/Oldies music, now if my neighbor plays his loud,or plays his dog and children too loud, I put my earphones in, plugged into my system and ignore everybody around me!

RE: Fifth wheel hitched to truck

Don't think it would hurt a thing...but why not at least put the front jacks down enough to take a little stress off the pin box and frame..and it will stabalize it a little while walking around,JMO

RE: Weight restrictions, something to think about...

OP,my point was not whether the bridge would really hold up....with all the states being broke because of.."current things as they are"the states are just looking for a way to fine anybody for anything...ask a truck driver about crossing a bridge or road that you are too heavy for....fines start at 3000.00,(ask my trucking son how he knows that!)

Weight restrictions,something to think about...

Went to my buddies today to get my 5ver out of storage and bring it home, never paid alot of attention to all the weight limit signs on the roads until a few years ago when I bought the 5ver,as all my TTs were in the 6-7000lb.dry weight category.I live on a country road, out in farm lands, the bridge at both ends of my road are about 10-12 years old and are rated at 10ton w.limit,my GCW is 18600 loaded with full load of fuel, some water,Onan genny, and firewood,as per CAT weight scales.I had to get gas before I went to my buddies, then took a short cut over to a main "State Road",they had just completed a new bridge that took 2 years to build, and I had to detour around for the last 2 years with the 5ver,and knew it was now open,(BIG PROJECT ...4'wide 6" deep creek,25'long bridge,PEN DOT approved, and built..2.6 million!!!,That's a whole different story!) Anyway this new bridge on a main state road is only rated at 10 ton!So all you guys worried about being a little long for state camp grounds, and heavy enough to actually NEED a Diesel dually, need to think about your gross weights near where you live,a 10-11,000lb. dually, and a dry weight 12-14000lb.5ver is too heavy to take home, on alot of state roads!!! Most of the roads on the way home were 7 1/2-15 ton limits......something to think about before buying that new rig...

RE: Onan 5500 generator propane problems

I plummed my 4000 Onan into a separate 40lb bottle, and run the rest of the 5ver off the other 40 lb,the genny has a special low preasure, high volume regulator,I've had no issues of any kind, regaurdless of the weather,(although I don't camp below freezing)Good Luck!
