RE: Replaced Oil pressure sender

I don't know if this information applies but, I had a sensor on our 2002 Dutch Star with Cumins 8.3 go out on the road. Road service tried to replace but the replacement was MORE than just the sensor. It entailed a new section of wiring harness AND a reprogram of Engine Control Module. This was done later by Cumins Mid-South. They had to remove ECM and do a bench re-program. Like I say, I don't know if the years between engine models made my problem different but the correction required more than just a sensor replacement.
