RE: Dinette Invention

Just get a good Child car seat from Recaro. Belts can get around a neck. Netting works best.

RE: Two questions about the water supply system

It normal for it to run when on city water or at lease mine does. I also turn off when on city water. Usually where we stay, they tell you to use a water regulator if need. If your shower head is a flex type you will know if too much pressure, It will jump off the hook and that is when I install the regulatr. I have a outside wash system in the wet area and that is where I check the pressure. It has a fex shower head on it. I also made a in-line tee with a pressure gauge and i can see what the pressure is on the hose.

RE: Sanitizing vs. Chlorination for fresh water ?

I think you answered your own question. As others stated chlorine is chlorine. Just another way to get you to purchase something.

RE: Heater A/C Fan inoperative

disconnect the wire going to the fan and hook up direct to battery, if it runs, then trace back to the problem. Maybe a vacuum operated switch.

RE: Replacing Refrigerator Cooling Coils, who's done it?

I think I would troubleshoot some more. If the coolant unit has a leak then you would not have any cooling at all. Replaceing boards will not help it. Does it cool at all, are the coils on the back warm or hot. Try this place also

RE: 06 Sea Breeze dog house

Park in different places , Peppermit extract, stake out a cat and even a corn snake, All kidding aside, they can be a issue at times. Watch the wiring, if they start on that you will have to move the unit some where else. You might try the sticky glue traps, they also work. Or even just plain traps. Can't help on bolts, If you can't look from over the front wheel and see them, maybe someone with that model will jump in.

RE: Dynamat

I unstall mine under the dog hose. It has a stickey back or if you are just installing under the carpet, just slide it where you want it. It is made to self glue to the metal on door, trunk, hood, to deading out the sound.

RE: Atwood gas/electric water heater

All circuits should have a fuse / breaker at the breaker/fuse box, No need to add another one. Did you not find a switch that controls the hot water heater when on 110 volt. If not heater might have been replaced with what you have now. Not a hard job to wire it with a switch. Post the model number and name of unit.

RE: F53 Flexible Brake Hose Replacement procedure?

First clean off the rust and what every else is on the end of each hose. Second, do you have the hose to replace them with. If not go get them first. Make sure they come with the copper washers. You will also need 3/3 quarts of brake fluid DOT 3. Looking at the new ones , you will see how they install. Any steel fix line will screw into the rubber one that you are replacing. Start from the brake and work you way back from their. If you have never done this I was suggest that you find someone that has and watch/help the first time. Then you will have to do a total brake bleed. Might get a can of brake cleaner, and if you get any fluid on the brake pad or disk, ensure that you clean it off right then.

RE: V10 plugs / power issues

Unless it is misfiring all the time it will not show up on as a code. You can check each one by disconnecting the small plug to each coil with engine running one at the time. Or a short regular spark plug wire and a timing light. All takes time but it works. Ford has a O scope that they use to check each one. But they have to do each one also. If you feel the engine change then it not that one. Check for water in number 4 and 5 passenger side , the last two on that side. You should have a heater hose that runs over those two plugs and if you get a leak from the clamp then that is where it runs too.

RE: Towing Capacity

3000/5000 for the hitch. So first check to see what receiver it has. Someone will jump in a few for the model. My 99 has 5000 max but you have to figure in the water/fuel and all the stuff that you put in the RV and take away from the max total. Just from the numbers you gave it going to be way overloaded.
