RE: hauling my golf cart

The added weight (total trailer weight) could possibly change your requirements for your drivers lic. Any trailer weighing over 10,100lb requires a class A drivers lic. Trailer weight is weight on the wheels not total trailer weight alone.

RE: Extra Charges at Florida RV Snowbird Park

While checking in at a Florida park they mentioned a $3.00 per day resort fee ! This was not disclosed anywhere in their paper ads or internet web site .
I had the clerk stop and help the people in line behind me while I consulted my trip sheet . When she finished , I let them know that I would be staying elsewhere . It was not the dollar amount , but the lack of integrity by not disclosing the additional fees .
Campgrounds , through their lack of behavior and ethics , will put themselves out of business .
Especially if you name the campground or resort. People will think twice before booking there.

RE: Newbies...Won an RV from Keystone!

Awesome, nice to see a young family with kids win it vs somebody else that has one already and doesn't really need it.

RE: Replacing G/Year Marathons with What? See P. 4

I like the Good Year G949RSA G rated tire.
I run the same on my trailer and like them. They are load range "E".

RE: 5th Wheel Pin

I assume you are talking about shock absorbing pin boxes.
I installed a 5th Airborne air ride pin box. I think it is well worth the money. I can see in the rear view mirror the 5er moving up and down somewhat independent of the truck, taking out some of the road shock away from the trailer. Truck rides smoother also.

RE: 5th Wheel Tire Selection

Load range "E" is 10 ply not 8ply. I agree, stick with LT's.

RE: Scaled the truck

Just for giggle's try measuring ride height front and rear before and after trailer is on truck. I was surprised as to how much my 3500 dodge dually front end dropped with an advertised tongue weight or 2150lbs.
