We were all newbies at one time. The one time might have been many years ago.......

RE: Magnetex 6300 Q Diagnosis/Upgrade

Now you have good 12 volts and that system is OK?
You have some ac?
Check for an outlet that is GFCI, it opens like a fuse and then you reset it.
Sometimes it will be around the sink or in the bathroom.
Sometimes they will run the circuit using 1 GFCI to control many outlets.
Look for one and reset it.
Good luck.

RE: Genny stalled out when I...

The house batteries might be used to start the gen and to keep the fuel valve open while running. I see you have a diesel gen set.
Maybe when you turned off the batteries it turned off the fuel valve to the gen set.

RE: A/C coming loose

+When installed the gasket is fairly thick. The bolts are tightened down to seal the unit.
Over miles and time the gasket will become thinner because of the weight of the AC and the tightness of the bolts.
You will have to re-tighten the bolts again.
You might have to re-tighten once more in the future but that is normal as the gasket continues to squish down.
I imagine if the rv just sits that the gasket would be fine. It's the moving and bouncing that causes the heavy ac to settle more and squish the gasket.
As was mentioned some bolts have springs on them to help keep the proper tension on the gasket.
You only need enough tension so the gasket doesn't leak. Don't crush it all the way down.
