RE: Walmart overnighting yes or no?

We have stayed at Walmarts many times and expect to do so again. I don't feel the need to justify it to anyone; it's just what we choose to do.

RE: Have you been turned away?

For those that are new to the forum, this topic comes up about every three months and some get really "wound around the axle" about the topic without understanding why it exists.
There are a lot of states that have some really weird rental laws, like the Republic of California, where we live. If you allow a coach in and later learn it's a rolling meth lab, it could take months to evict the owner from the park.
The ten year rule gives the park some abillity to limit a rolling heap from coming into the park and becoming a nightmare to evict.
I've had truck campers, Class C, Class A and our current DP. No matter what rig I'm in, I don't want to park next to a heap puking fumes and junk falling off. The owners will generally be similar to the coach, like or not.
So before you get exited about the rule, ask everyone you know if they've ever been turned away. I doubt you'll find anyone. Obviuosly, there are the resorts that only allow DP's, such as those in Florida.....that is not what's being discussed here.
By the way.....if someone comes back with....."you're wrong, I was turned away", please post a picture of the coach that was turned away.
Great answer!

RE: CIPA Wireless RV Level Indicator

there's an app for that! really, it's true. i have a bubble level app for my iphone. if you have the same app on another iphone they can be set up to use one as the level and the other as the remote readout. works great! probably available for android devices too.
I have seen several "Level" apps, but I wasn't aware that any could be used as a remote with another iPhone. Which app do you have that does this. It sounds really handy.

RE: Keeping Your Books In Your RV

We started with a Kindle (my idea to cut down on the weight of my wife's books). We now each have an iPad that we use for books and magazines.

RE: Chev Colorado pickup

We towed our 2000 Jeep Wrangler for years, and it worked fine. To get more room for "stuff" we now tow a 2009 Colorado. It tows just as easily as the Jeep. The Colorado is heavier even before we fill the bed with stuff, and I'm not a fan of the electric transfer case, but it all works just fine.
If you need the room and don't mind the added weight, I think the Colorado is a good towed.

RE: 3M Command Adhesive Strips

Heck Yeah!
We have used them for years in our RVs. Never had any problems like those mentioned above. They work great for us.
