RE: electric heater

Thanks for your input...lots of good info. But I did not phrase my issue correctly. I'll start again..
I am using a small electric heater in the RV in order to keep the interior temperature above the freezing point. I keep the heater on the lowest setting (approx 40 degrees). The RV is plugged up to shore power. When I turn the batteries off, all power goes off in the RV. My question....how can I run my heater without having the batteries on?
Again....thanks....

electric heater

I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Vacationer (36 ft). I want to know how to plug up an electric heater without going thru the house batteries.
Thanks for your input.

RE: calibrate thermostat

Thanks for the suggestions. The thermostat controls 2 zones plus it controls both the heat and A/C. Thought I would try to re-calibrate it and try to solve the problem if I could figure out how. The fan on the thermostat sounds like a good idea...thanks. Still trying to find out the answer on how to calibrate the thermostat. Any suggestions?

calibrate thermostat

I have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Vacationer with a digital thermostat. I am having problems with the temperture exceeding the the setting. For example, I will set the thermostat to 68 degrees and it will be as high as 74 degrees before the furnace cuts off. The opposite is also a problem. The temperture will fall to 66 degrees before the furnace kicks on again. I need to know how to calibrate the thermostat. Thanks in advance.
