RE: Consignment of your RV
Be careful going that route, we got ripped off one time by a large rv dealer that we thought was trust worthy. Not only did they lie about what the unit sold for their night watchman lived in our TT when he was not on the job. We received 1/2 of what he sold the unit for. We had already agreed to an amount separate from the sales price. We found out when we were in a membership campground and saw our camper and went and talked to the people who bought it. When I confronted the owner of the rv dealership he told me to pound sand.....So my advice is get every detail in writing.

RE: Cat house?
We saw a 2 story cat house hanging on the passenger window of a motor home this past week. I looked at our 5th wheel bedroom window and figured that something like that would work. I don't know if the cat would use it or not.....

OMG, otc medicine's out of date....
The past two weeks we were in the woods camping. The pollen was horrendous and I am normally not affected by it. But because it was so rampant this year plus there has been no rain this year. I went to my trusty medicine cabinet and lo and behold all the meds that we normally carry were all out of date. So it became necessary to drive in to the nearest drug store to get some relief. I guess I need to come up with a chart with maladies and the otc drug to counter it. I was wondering what other rv'ers carry in their medicine cabinets??

I have run the set up about 6 times and my friend ran it a couple of times including disconnecting the cable from the antenna and clearing out every thing....then starting over .........

I have 2 receivers in my rv the one in the living room will find 110/119/129 satellites but the one in the bed room will only find 110. Is there something wrong with this receiver?

Winegard Carry Out antenna
We have the carryout and are using it for the first time this week. I can hear it searching during the night when the receiver is turned off. I wonder if this is normal of if I have a defective unit?

BD space saver coffee pot
We have an undercounter space saver coffee pot. My wife would like to take the top off the pot to clean inside. I do not see a way to get this one apart.

Winegard motorized antenna
I wonder if the Winegard motorized antenna control panel could be placed in the living area in view of the TV or does it have to be at the base of the antenna? I just hate having to get up the steps to the bedroom move the antenna then find that I have to move it again......

Sleeping bag vs sheets/blankets
Our 5th wheel has a sofa that opens up with a blow up mattress. It is a PITA to put sheets and blankets on the mattress and then during the night they slip off. I am thinking of getting either 2 sleeping bags and zipping them together or getting a double bag. We only need it when the kids and grandkids come over.

We were in your neck of the woods last summer at Colts Neck Naval Weapons station and drove over to Monmouth Army Base one day and it was a ghost town. I guess by now it is completely closed .....

While up in NC last June we took a trip down to walmart to pick up some things and we had a large brand-new cooler in the bed of our truck with the cover closed. When we got back to the rv I went to get the cooler and it was not there so I asked the wife if she had opened the top and she said no so apparently while we were inside shopping some one decided they needed our cooler more than us....

Triple towing isnt legal in FL is it?
No but double towing is since Jan 1st. As long as the first is a 5'er.
Where did you find this out? The other day DOT had a guy stopped on I-75 that had a boat behind his 5th wheel.

To my way of thinking, if you were towing a TT with a SUV in the day time you would have a hard time knowing if the boat/trailer was still attached to the back of the travel trailer, it would be impossible to know if it was still back there if it was at night...
