I deal with adjusters everyday on classic car accidents. Like mh's there is no real guide to go by. So here it is in a nutshell for you. Was she charged with the accident?? If so have the coach repaired where you want and have the repair shop work with the adjuster. Take no checks from the insurance company and sign nothing until you are happy with the repairs. When you are sign off on it and the shop will be paid. Things have changed alot over the years so a lot of these suggestions here are useless now. If she was not charged let your ins. handle it.

The gold on my 5er was almost white. I cleaned with Barkeepers friend and coated with RMP. It now looks like I had painted it and it has been close to a year since coated. I think you just failed in your prep work. I do know a little about gelcoats and paint as you can see in my sig.

I used Flying J exclusively for many years, but two years ago I don't stop at a Flying J unless I have to. Since Pilot took them over they have the highest prices in town and rotten service.

We were buying bikes from Walmart every 2 years. I rode a friends Townie and now DW and I both have them. DW is about the same height as you and she loves it. We ride for miles when we go out and never get uncomfortable.

I have always tried not to do that to a post about cummins and duramax but then again I guess I was raised not to trash talk about anyone. Its a shame some of these people were not. Everyone knows the 6.0 is the worst engine ever built and they can't even get out of the drive way without major break downs. How many did you see going to work this morning? yes they had some problems but there are people here that love to bash also. Get the records on the truck and make your own decision.
