RE: CoachNet

CW sent a tow driver who forgot to set his brake and then pulled my friends new Bounder thru a drainage ditch up onto the road and it was totaled. He had 50,000 insurance, her ins paid for the MH. CW was unresponsive to her, don't know how they dealt with her ins company.
We have had good luck with CN, will know to ask for a wrecker unless it's a tire, after reading the posters problems.
Waiting for an update.

RE: AVOID Sunshine Key RV Resort FL -(by Key West)

We went in Jan and enjoyed ourselves but across from us was a site with old furniture everywhere, unsupervised kids and very loud music and we had to back out of our site, neighbors behind us moved their cars because the Miami Mafia would not let us out. We had read the reviews and knew not to go there in April. The pool is nice but Encore needs to spend some money as the clubhouses and bathhouses were awful. We were told they don't update because there is so much vandalism in the summer months. As TT members we got a discount but will stay elsewhere next time.

RE: Class A motor home vs. car for trip out west

I"m not into campfires, but we are driving to California this winter, even at 7 mile to the gal we crunched the numbers for an airflight, hotels, rental car and meals for the Rose Parade and decided to drive, I like my own bed and didn't want to live out of a suitcase for 2 weeks. If you take the RV, use Passport America, boondock some and use the car to sight see, you will see more that way. The small motels run around 50 a night, get books at the visitors center and check them online, figure what you would spend on meals and then decide what you are going to do.

RE: inverter

Your lights should work because they are 12 volt , our 2000 did not have an inverter but the lights and furnace fan ran off of the battery Try to put your rig year and model on your signature as it helps us answer your questions. Thx

RE: Campground Prices

We use 1000 Trails, about $1300 in 1998, dues 500 a year, for 50 nights and $5 a night afterwards, Passport America, Moose, Elks, VFW, Legion,COE,when we were on the road 9 months a year found that our costs weren't that high, overnight at WalMart or Sams, find when we are out west using our 1000 Trails going park to park is well worth it, have found very few w/o adequate power . We don't have to have 50 amp but it's nice.We like parks with pools and activities. Since Equity Lifestyles bought TT, there are many more parks to stay in with a Thousand Trails discount(lots of Encore parks offer it)we have used county parks and fairgrounds. Have found some state parks do not police the rowdy crowd, use them on week days. Happy Trails

RE: 2002 Itasca Sunova swaying issues

That model should have a 5000 lb hitch, good luck, I'm wondering how the factory installed receiver could be crooked. You didn't indicate what length MH you bought but the 32 that we had required a Saf-T-Plus on front to stop wind sway from the big trucks. Keep us updated.

RE: Sink & Convection Oven

Wash in big side, rinse in small, drain in rack. Leave the turn table in. all our MH's have had double sinks. Also using dishpan you can wash and rinse in big side, use small for other meal preps. Once you get used to a micro/conv, you will wonder how you ever did w/o it. Good Luck

RE: LED TV's and modified sine invertors

Ivy, you are saying you have no hum. Good, Someone told me if we do have a hum to install the wart that was attached to our old Sony. What LED did you install. We have bough an Hitachi that has variable output sound hoping this will work with the sound system. We bought a 2011 as the new TV's do not have earphone outlets that we need for his wireless as I can take only sooo much football. lol

Has anyone been using an LED on a modified wave inverter and have you had any issues? I have talked to one person who has had no problems and am hoping there are many more. Thx

RE: need a math person on disney

4 parks, 1 a day, plus a day to go back. That leaves you Downtown Disney, Westside and the water parks, A visit to the Boardwalk, The Piano Man at Riverside and the fun stuff at the campground. You may not want 7 days in the parks. With the fast pass options you don't have to stand in line. Of course if you have small children and have to leave for naps that is another story.

RE: Savannah Ga.

There is a Passport America park near Savannah(14 miles) at Hardeeville. We stayed there several days this year on the way to FL. Nothing fancy but large sites, good electric, water and sewer. We paid about $12. Cash only. There are park reviews in www.rvparkreviews.com under Savannah and Hardeeville.

RE: Directory for Adult Only 55+ RV Parks?

Many Adult parks aren't listed if they are resident owned. West View Ridge 18 miles south of Disney in Haines City FL is one of those. I have my lot for rent next year and would love some kind of directory or website.. Hope someone answers you with one.
