RE: Class A tires

themitch79 - RV specific tires made by Goodyear and Michelin will give you a softer ride than truck tires for OTR trucks. On the other hand truck tires are less likely to break. Stronger sidewalls mean more resistance to injury caused by pot holes and other impacts.
IMHO - There are a number of makes of acceptable tires for RVs. There are more complaints on Mich and Goodyear because by far most motor homes have those brands.
For our motor home we have only truck tires on it. But ours is a big heavy cushy riding coach. You have a spring based coach and you might stick with an RV specific tire. If the Good Years have worked stick with them.

RE: Protective coating

We have a thick clear coat on our motor home paint. What that means is that after almost 9 years in the sun the paint looks new. The reds have not faded. Make sure that you get your Tiffin with as thick a hard clear coat as is available. Usually stuff put on top of the clear coat do not mean much. But it is a high profit area for the dealer. But, hey I don't know about every coating. So the one you are looking at might be better. I do think a coat of wax every six months is a good idea.

RE: 98 HR vs 93 Fortravel GrandVilla vs 91 Country Coach Concept

IMHO - and that is all that we talking about here - all three coaches are from good makers. I have a Country Coach and like it a lot. However, you pay extra for a Concept because they have a sort or "cult" status and prices are high for the age. Foretravel is a great make, but the comments earlier about the limited basement storage are something you should look at carefully. Holiday Rambler is an long established brand that makes good coaches. I have several friends that have them and have indicated their satisfaction.
Slides are very nice / essential if you are going to live in a coach for a while. Again IMHO.
